The 2018 Meals Menu

During the 2018 Edition, food will be served as follows:

Breakfast: 7 to 8 am
Smoothies: 10 am
Lunch: 1 to 2 pm
Smoothies: 3 pm
Dinner: 7 to 8 pm
Midnight Hot Meal: 1 to 2 am  

In between meals, the aid station will have regular "ultra snacks" type foods available for snacking


Breakfast: Blueberry Streusel Coffee Cake (Vegan and Non-Vegan)

Lunch: Chicken Biryani/Tofu Biryani (Vegan)

Dinner: Macaroni with Beef/ Macaroni with Vegan Sausage (Vegan)

Midnight: Corn Chowder with Ham / Corn Chowder without Ham (Vegan)


Breakfast: Hash Brown Egg Bake (Vegan and Non-Vegan)

Lunch: Teriyaki Beef and Rice/ Teriyaki Beans and Rice (Vegan)

Dinner: Sausage Creole/ Vegan Creole

Midnight: Mashed Potatoes/ Spinach Quinoa (Vegan)


Breakfast: Baked Cinnamon French Toast (Vegan and Non-Vegan)

Lunch: Honey Mustard Chicken and Rice/Honey Mustard Tempeh and Rice (Vegan)

Dinner: Turkey Chili/ Vegan Chili

Midnight: Spanish Rice and Beans (Vegan and Non-Vegan)


Breakfast: Sausage, Cheese, and Veggie Egg Bake (Vegan and Non-Vegan)

Lunch: Parmesan Chicken/ Parmesan Tofu (Vegan)

Dinner: Beef Stew/ Vegan Stew

Midnight: Black Bean Soup (Vegan and Non-Vegan)


Breakfast: Baked Greek Omelet (Vegan and Non-Vegan)

Lunch: Hawaiian Chicken and Rice/ Hawaiian Beans and Rice (Vegan)

Dinner: Chicken Taco Soup/ Vegan Taco Soup

Midnight: Butternut Squash Soup (Vegan and Non-Vegan)


Breakfast: Baked Cream Cheese French Toast Casserole (Vegan and Non-Vegan)

Lunch: Pork Sarmale/Vegan Briam

Dinner: Chicken Curry /Potato Curry

Midnight: Lentil Stew

Meal Serving Etiquette - Race Rules

XXX. Food and drinks will be provided at the race aid station. 4 meals per day will be provided as well as regular "race food" and salt pills. Food will be diverse and customary with ultra-running events. The race will not provide/cater to athletes following special diets. The menu will be posted on this website 2 weeks prior to the start of the race. The meals for each day will be announced on a white board during that day as well as the serving time (1 hour for each meal). When the meal is served a flag will be raised at the aid station to announce the runners. When the flag is removed there will be NO meals severed until the next serving time. This will allow the volunteers to clean and prepare for the next serving as well as rest. The AID STATION is NOT a place to ask for special meals, to store food, personal items, or to hang around and talk. The Aid Station will be kept clear of athletes personal items at ALL TIMES!
